Talksport are saying Nigel Adkins has been holding talks with Reading this afternoon regarding the mangers job.

And SSN have said Gus is in talks with Reading. Until The Albion issue a statement it's all speculation (or SkyBets manipulating the market to suck in some cash).
The Club needs to say something although season ticket renewals are all done and dusted so no worries for them on that score.

As has been suggested on the other thread-Gus has always said that he will not stand in the way of his players if they wish to talk to another club and it may also be club policy regarding Gus doing the same.

Had SSN on for the past couple of hours. Language about Poyet becoming noticeably more equivocal now - earlier they talked about Gus as "overwhelming favourite", now they're saying "we'll have the latest on Reading's search for a manager, where Gus Poyet has been installed as favourite..."

Sky seem to have changed their stance on Gus from originally saying "overwhelming favourite" to "leads the chase" of becoming new Reading manager. 4/11 now.
