Gus seems to be great at getting it right in the post-match interview, shame he doesn't get it right in the team talk before the players go out to play

the best way i can describe our build up play is "wooden" i expect to get lambasted as i don't go to the games but the three games i saw live this year and the three games i've watched on the box, our build up play is too pedestrian,we just seem to push the other lot back into their own half with long periods of possession , we give them too much time to set up/ or pack their defence and until now we have not had an areial threat.........we need to be a bit more urgent in our attacking play.......kaz and will are capable of blistering speed which is of much more use over 30 or 40ms than 15 or 20........and we need a midfield pivot/general orlandi, may become this ,i'm getting the feeling that our hopes of play offs are going to be disappointed this year.........we dropped four spots after yesterdays loss..........having said this , if gus makes the correct choice re replacing barnes and the shape of the team then we could click and he will be a f***ing genius............if he goes for dicker and another defensive formation and we loose to hull then it will be binfest central...............all i will say is it ruins my week-end when we looseand i haven't just spent 150 quid and 12 hours of my life travelling to the game..........i often wonder wether the management and players really appreciate the efforts of travelling fans ,and i don't mean are they happy to see 1100 Albion fans up at sw..........i mean do they appreciate the effort and sacrifices people make to follow the team............sometimes i doubt it.

I'm struggling to think what Gus got right at all yesterday

Bridcutt getting subbed was a good move. Kept him safe for Hull and gave us more attacking threat. Likewise, subbing Ulloa was a good move, don't want him to get a yellow either. Individual performances on the pitch aren't his fault, he can't really effect how the players play.

Some of our fans are to nice taking all kinds of homophobic abuse from some sections of the away drivel outside football grounds, most of these idiots shit themselves when confronted I wish Brighton would stick together sometimes especially at home its becoming a f***ing embarrassment.

Oh man. I remember last time we played Southampton at the St Marys, I couldn't get into the away section so I went incognito and sat in the home end.
I'd say about 80% of their chants were negative ones about our club rather than cheering on their own boys. Not even just the boring homophobic stuff, but racist stuff against Gus too. It's high time the FA stopped overreacting to media fronted witch hunts of Suarez/Terry et al and started trying to change the culture around football. I mean everything are the sport has improved, but the mindset of some sets of fans seems still to be stuck in the 70s. Particularly the gay stuff. It's as if Justin Fashanu never happened.
