Cannot believe the number of people on here who want to dump our top scorer halfway through the season.

You seriously wouldn't sell CMS if we could get back what we paid? It obviously isn't working out, a bigger striker (or one who had better finishing) would be challenging Murray for top goal scorer right now, we create untold chances per game yet fail to convert.

Only if you can absolutely guarantee that whoever comes in scores more than he would. It is a huge gamble and one that may not work. I would rather we bought someone else in and kept him.

He is one of our best players, like him or not, that is a fact. We do not progress as a club by selling our best players. Also, I have asked this question many times over the last week and have yet to have a reply - if CMS is so poor, why does a Premier League club want him (allegedly)?

Edit: - And it is not just CMS that is missing all the chances - they are all at it!

Just read that Dobbie wants to go to Palace, probablky to link up with Holloway again. Could Gus be lining up a player swap with cash adjustment Dobbie for Murray.

:lolol: Did you read it on your favourite football rumours site? Only chance is a straight swap no cash adjustment, personally would rather it was for Hoskins.

I reckon we will definitely go for Chris Wood, after what Gus said about him the other day and he would be in our price and wages range.

I'm more amazed that people on here think Norwich will even contemplate bidding for him. His form/goal scoring record isn't great in the championship so why people think he'll be playing prem football in months to come beats me.

You watch, he'll prob start scoring for fun now......... Lol

Considering the bid large for him in the summer and ten goals to his name why wouldnt they still be interested?

10 goals at a his stage is not too shabby and he terrifies defenders, he might fit in with how another manager wishes to play.
I wish certain sections of the crowd would get behind whoever is on the pitch. There is a right bellend in the north who spends most of the game telling him to f@ck off to Norwich. :ffsparr:

I personally don't think his form is anywhere near good enough presently. I'm sure Norwich have followed his progression with interest...... Guess we'll have to wait and see.... I'm not saying I'm right of course, footballs a funny game with differing opinions....

10 goals is ten goals as you say, but the amount of chances he's missed is a real worry, so for that reason I wouldn't want to take the gamble on him performing in the prem, but hey, it's not my money.......

Id say his form was arguably worse at this stage last season and Reading still bid 3mil for him in January.

Managers obviously rate him highly and in a two man strike force think he could be a tremendous assett. A formation we are never likely to see unfortunately.

Time will tell.... I hope for his sake he gets a move because he's a good guy and it must be difficult for him trying to play a way that doesn't suit him whatsoever.

Hmmmm, that would be interesting....... Would be quality in this league assuming he was interested in playing in a lower league......

Yes he was on loan to some Russian side this season...seems a bit tenuous, but we are still waiting for Gus's special one
