Just superb news, and I don't think he said 'eez complicated' once either!

I certainly feel now that the passing of Glenn Murray was simply natural wastage, Gus didn't think GM was worth the money, but he thinks that others are.

Can't wait to hear who the next signing will be, surely a striker, how exciting

Exactly. That is how I saw the situation all along. Glenn Murray is ok in L1, but is too slow and fails to take too many chances for Gus's style of play and the Championship.

I'm getting excited about his replacement.

It certainly looks that way. Personally, I always rated Murray *very* highly, so if Gus can bring in someone who trumps him, I reckon he is going to prove a top top player.

Diego Forlan is now 32, is it total fantasy to hope that he just MAY sign for us for a year?

The lethargic Murray gone, and two speedsters arriving so far...looks to me like Gus is trying to inject a bit more PACE into our forward line for next season. The patient build-up from the back, then a sudden turn of pace off the defenders shoulder, the ball slipped through and BANG, we're in behind them. I can see it all now.

How do you know? ( says I politely )

Because he's widely regarded as one of the best forwards in one of the best leagues in the world, and as such will command a salary of tens of thousands per week, and a SUBSTANTIAL fee. Apart from that, pretty plausible. (replies politely.)
