 love the kids with the boards ready to give him a Q&A grilling.

Brilliant to see this! Fairlight Primary School are sending a group of kids to the Opening Ceremony at the Olympics. They've been asked to form part of the guard of honour for the athletes, as they make their way across the Olympic Park to the stadium. And they've been designated as the school that particularly welcomes the Uruguay Olympic Team.

The kids' questions were mostly about Uruguay and him personally. I was lucky enough to be one of the teachers in the room for this. It was a lovely surprise for me first thing this morning. Oh, and he wasn't wearing stilettos.

I've probably been in that classroom. Admittedly at least 14 years ago

I remember when a couple of Brighton players came to the Goldstone Primary School in Laburnum Avenue when I was there, would have been between either 1997 or 1998. I remember one of them asking, "Who has seen us play this season?" and I proudly threw up my hand and shouted that I had. I can't remember who was there though...

The most exciting visitors we ever got at my school were the RAF Falcons parachute display team.

Great work with the community again but those socks in a class full of children is a little bit scary.
