Gus has to go now , his ego will hold the team back and stop us progressing further , he has done a great job but enough is enough .

Reasons why

A) Record signings should either be the missing piece in the jigsaw or you build a team around them .
Signed CMS , was never last piece of jigsaw and Gus never plays to his strength because it compromises his theory on how the
game is played and that would mean admitting he is wrong

B) Signing Dobbie and playing him out of position , Does this because he refuses to admit he needs another style of play as
That would mean admitting he is wrong

C) Refusing to play another system even as a plan B ! Again his ego won't let him do it

D) Surrounds himself with inexperienced back room staff , again his ego won't have someone who would challenge him with other
Ideas

E) Constantly playing people out of position rather than playing a system to suit the players we currently have , again his ego won't let
him.

Where Gus has taken the club in football terms is brilliant but his ego will hold us back , he needs to mix and match his style of play to suit the current squad of players , that's not admitting he is wrong in what he wants to achieve and the end goal of the style he wants to play week in week out, it's realising he has to compromise until he gets the 5 or 6 players still needed to achieve that week in week out. He won't get those players at the standard needed because we don't have 30 million to spend on those type of quality players .

What we do have is a squad capable of the play offs but only if we play to the players strengths and not the managers Ego .

Bloom needs to realise this quickly and if Gus refuses to compromise or refuses to let his Ego take a back seat then sadly he must go now !!

Are you Gus' psychologist? You seem to know a lot about him and the way he thinks.

Add:

Creating an unnecessary stand off versus Murray over a pay rise that was low by Championship standards.

The Noone sale - rattling on about every player has his price, alerting rivals with REAL ambition to raid us.

Gus has done an unbelievable job but unless he compromises he will hold the club back , we can't afford the players he needs to complete the project , so if he doesn't change things to get the best of what we have we have a stalemate

Utter nonsense. We are still progressing and have a better squad than last season. Gus has done and continues to do a great job. The football played is a far higher quality than seen for many seasons. It seems that a lot of people want to go back to hoof football with a team of 6ft+ players just to see goals from.corners and long throws. It is not the time to join the growing band wagon of 3 managers a season but to back Gus as we continue to improve.

Progressing?

The stadium and Lancing are, and we've acquired some better defenders, but

The performances, results, confidence, chances created, offensive play and ideas, and goals .... Have all regressed.

There is a serious problem in the playing side.

That's not true, up until a couple of games ago we were creating more chances than most other clubs in the Championship, our problem was taking those chances and converting them into goals. Energetically wasteful as the site below calls it
.
Attacking and Defensive Effectiveness: 11th November 2012 Experimental 3-6-1

We've still got more points on the board than this time last season, scoring more and conceded less. It does seem as though we've stopped creating as many chances over the last few games, our players look short of confidence, maybe creating all those chances earlier in the season and not converting them has started to affect them.
