a midfielder at Withdean from Shoreham whose name is on the tip of my tongue but didn't play many games for us and retired through injury.

I was at the game where Simon Rodger picked up the injury that finished his career - think it was the League Cup game at Middlesbrough when we lost in extra time. Shame for him, always looked good when I saw him (admittedly rarely).

According to the ever-reliable Wikipedia, he's married to a QVC presenter and is a now a "Licensed Private Hire Chauffeur". I'm not sure if that means he's an actual chauffeur, with a smart hat and everything, or if it's a posh way of saying he drives a minicab.
