Haha! On the contrary, I love them, the older fashioned the better. I am trying to pick pubs that have changed a bit. Unfortunately when pubs change these days, it's usually for the worse.

Went in at 4pm for some fast drinking before the Cardiff match. We had a table next to the (gas) coal fire. When we finally left at 11.30, it didn't look anything like that.
