Under the sea
A welcome return of the sun I see.

GOOD

One of the biggest problems with GTA IV was the drab and dingy environment you were exploring. It was always gloomy and rainy and depressing, unlike Vice City or San Andreas which were gloriously bright and sunny affairs which made crime sprees that little bit more fun.

From the looks of the trailer it looks like a cross between Vice City (Miami) and San Andreas (LA/San Francisco/Las Vegas) although I haven't heard the official line.

Hope it's a little less serious than GTA IV too, I miss the fun of GTA games. And it could do without being bothered on your mobile all the time by whining girlfriends or alcoholic brothers.

Not convinced after San Andreas and GTA4. Red Dead Redemption was AWESOME, I'd rather see them make a follow up to that, or go down the similar historical line.

I'm at work so can't watch it! Any news on release day? Will it be released on PC? Is it a completely new location?

Vinewood (So it looks like Los Santos or LA) but also perhaps San Feirro because of the mountain and back packing in the trailer.

It will be released on PC according to the fact IGN has a PC page for it. NO release date yet.

Might be the first game I have to upgrade for, unless the port is decent unlike GTAIV.

I fecking loved GTAIV, I really don't understand the level of dislike people had for it. It lost a lot of the humour but I much preferred the grittier approach. It definitely had a few issues (such as the stupid socialising bit) but the story was the best of any of them by a distance, IMHO.

I mean it runs terrible on even the highest end PC's. It does look incredible though.

I've barely played it as I want to complete SA first but have to admi event the socialising bits of SA are starting to annoy me.

Really? I can't say I ever had major problems running it, and my PC was high spec when I bought it c.4 years ago but isn't particularly now. To be honest I probably shouldn't have quoted you it was more of a general point.
