Sidwell wanted to sign for reading anyway that was obvious, he used us as a shop window and had no intention of staying...so he's out the picture!

Knight on the other hand has said many times he wants to stay, but now with QPR joining the chase then he's got something to think about. Maybe his loan was to use us as a shop window aswell and just say he wanted to stay to keep us happy...I dont know, its all tense stuff and I'm getting a headache from thinking about it!

Just have to trust Coppell that if the worst does come to the worst, he'll come up with something else.

Which in fairness, he has done on every occasion: brought in players who've done a top job, regardless of relegation. Ingimarsson, Rougier, Sidwell, Rodger.

I'll be gutted if Leon signs for QPR, but I have faith that we'll find someone else. Choker watching him score dozens at Loftus Road though.

End of the day we get the players and it's up to them to decide, the state of our stadium and future stadium doesn't help. Once we, hopefully, get permission we should have more hope of keeping players and attracting more.
