I suspect the whole place is a mess still post the Maynard tragedy. He has not done brilliantly up there, but the last 12 months have probably not been that much about cricket.

History in sport tells us that settled sides and playing as a team always do better in the long run i/e Phil Neal at Liverpool how many England caps and medals but lets be honest really average English league fullback. Sussex have gone for the 'big' names before Imran.Keppler and the rest and where has it got us ? However under Adams decent players Kirtley,RMJ,Muzza and the rest were part of a unit that picked its self.
