Grimsby is a proper little club with some history.I backed them today in my bet and i'm praying they stay up.
I don't listen to our fans based there as all they do is slag the club off. They have probably never been to the Cod Heads ground.

Come on Grimsby.

Been to Blunder Park several times watching the Albion. Burton will do the business next Saturday.

I so hope Burton do a job on them after what happened on the final day a few years ago when we got relegated up there.

I [Richie Morris] ruddy [/Richie Morris] love a great escape and backing Grimsby all the way. From the highlights, it looked like an excellent match and it obviously meant a lot to the fans.

Yeah, I remember, it was back in 2003. Some twat of a Grimsby player was winding us up if I remember correctly?

Us whining about Grimsby is as bad as Swindon bitching about us, it's history. Having said that I would prefer Barnet to stay up.

The twat of a Grimsby player was actually a Preston player on loan who misbehaved badly (in a Scott McGleish sort of way). I believe that Grimsby protested strongly to his host club after the game.

It was the match we both went down, in 2003, and afterwards the supporters from both sides congregated on the pitch without any trouble.

I have to say that the player who most upset me on that day was one Bobby Zamora who showed no respect to the Albion or its fans on what was his last game for the club. A wonderful career with the Albion just sort of petered out. He couldn't be bothered.

Grimsby to stay up for me if only to see the response from the fan who posted the rant after the Torquay game. To the point about Barnet/Camden being a good day out surely if we ever have to go there again other than in one of the cups either something has gone spectacularly wrong for us or Abramovich has moved his millions north of the river?
