Yep, was surprised to see the ref had a pretty good game. Feared for the worst after reading this thread, but turns out he weren;t too bad. Lino was dodgy, but not the worst we've seen this season
Burley, Derby manager reckoned the sendinf off was a joke decision as Taylor never touched Knight. Chris Kamara & Co on Sky agreed. I disagreed with my brother, who sits next to me and has the same view as me. who thought the same. I thought the ref got it 100% right as the rules state that to strike or ATTEMPT to strike a player is an automatic red card. The question is did Taylor either hit or attempt to hit Knight after having run 15 yards to get involved in the incident. I believe that the answer is YES.
If he has run 15 yards for the piece of the action then yes. There is only one thing in his mind... he wants to whack little leon. So therefore the referee got it spot on.
