as i've said pure exploitation, some people believe it or not aren't that stupid.

So every single time someone wants to work, and is willing to work for less, it's exploitation? Despite it almost certainly being far more money than they would've made in their home country.

The attached provides an official view on estimated numbers of eastern europeans arriving in the UK and registering for work in recent years............which is about 1m.

http://www.hpa.org.uk/webc/HPAwebFile/HPAweb_C/1231243849907

In short they are young (18-35) and working in a wide range of industries around the UK although predominantly they are low skilled. This does not include the unofficial "workers".

It is churlish to deny that 1m eastern europeans arriving in the last 7 years to work legitimately have not had an impact on the native labour market in the UK and not least for the low skilled.

The anecdotal evidence suggests that this influx has pushed wages downward (particularly for the low skilled) and so this has created a tipping point for many thousands of UK low skilled workers whereby working at low rates of pay conflicts with what they could receive in benefits. Some take the option not to work at those rates of pay and many others don't.

So, are eastern europeans working for rates of pay that other UK workers cant afford to work for? Yes. Does this mean they are nicking the UK workers jobs?

No doubt a free market capitalist tory like yourself would say a resounding NO.........you f***ing Thatcherist pig.

..... I cannot believe they are able to obtain so many votes in this day and age.

Because THEY SAY 'a generation of left wing liberal do gooder governments in western Europe have sold national identities down the proverbial river on the human rights ticket' .......
