They used to only get one cap for an entire tournament rather than the individual number of games played in it (I'm sure I read that somewhere!)

So presumably you won't get one for an 8-0 win v San marino, which could not have been in the least bit competitive. and what about all the meaningless freindlies that they play. Surely they don't count as "competitive"??
