Just heard that Andy Gray & Richard Keys are starting on Talksport from next Monday - 10am to 1pm weekdays.

Looks like Keys' confessional on Hawksbee & Jacobs' show did the trick!

What is to become of Mike Parry?

I wonder what sort of paycut Gray will be taking after being on £1.7 million at Sky.
I also wonder if they'd said all that shit originally on Talksport instead of Sky, whether Talksport would have been pressured into sacking them. Seems Talksport doesn't have such high standards of opposition to sexual bigotry.

Talk radio tends to thrive on controversy . These two were made for it and Talk Sport must be rubbing their hands with delight. Whatever you think of them, I'm pretty certain listening figures will rocket for the foreseeable future .

TalkSport is tabloid radio so its about their level. They just remind me of Waldorff & Statler now.

"So what the hell was all that hoo-haa about anyway ?"
"Beats the hell outta me. Hey, you see the ass on that newsgirl Robyn ? I'd give her a newsflash any time"

"Hur hurr hurr hurr hurrr"

Hardly a surprise really, although I'm expecting Gray to reunite with Big Fat Ron in the not-too-distant. They can pick up the reins of their management partnership at a place where the locals don't care for them lazy Blacks or - more importantly - bleedin' WOMEN at the football. Hartlepools await their magic touch...

I thought that Graham Souness spoke with great authority and knowledge on Goals on Sunday and feel that he could do the Andy Gray job very well on Sky as indeed could Tony Gale the presenter of the program is a lot easier to find as they do not need to have any football knowledge, as Richard Keys demonstrated time and again, how about some body like Gabby Yorath, as was when she was single. Good to see Sian Massey back on the line again in the FL.

Has 'smashing it' become the latest buzz phrase back in the UK now? Pretty inadvertently hilarious stuff from Keys, although also inexcusable I guess.

I think that BG is merely stating her maiden name as perhaps 'Logan' has temporarily slipped his mind.

Spot on as soon as youy wrote he married name I remembered it. I think she could present the shows ok with a knowledgeable person alongside of her. They havent got to be very clued up to better than Andy Gray.

Has Richard Keys said anything interesting ever? Why on earth would you want to listen to him on the radio?

I'd rather sit and watch the grass grow at The Amex.
