Grant Hall "On His Way"

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
Our squad list has been updated on the website, to include the new numbers for new players, and Hall remains on that list. As does Bergkamp with number 29 to be fair. The website is fantastic for daily pictures and general stories, but they don't pay much attention to the squad list.

I'm sure I remember Insider saying that the Football League update the squad players not the club. Berkamp is still in the development squad according to an answer on Ask the Club recently.

Never quite understood why there are so many Spurs fans on here and in Sussex. Am I missing something?

They got lost on the way back from the friendly last season.

Oh ok, faor enough. Thanks for the correction. Bergkamp is still here, but he's had his old squad number gazzumped by a more senior player.

funny how much bad feeling there has been towards Chelsea when compared with the wank fest by some about Arry and his boys coming last season.

Yeah, may have something to do with the time we played them in the eighties some of us ain't forgotten the scum!

He's still not listed on the Spurs site, nor on the BBC Spurs page, has he actually sigend, or is he still a trialist at Spurs?

He's on trial and until a fee is agreed between clubs or by tribunal he remains a free agent. It's just a matter of time.

before my time - what happened?

Our first home game in 1983/4, after we were relegated from the old division 1, was against Chelsea.

The club gave them the whole of the East stand, and the previous night there was all out war as thousands of them came down to wreak some carnage. West Street were out in force, but outnumbered. Loads of Chelsea were locked underneath Kings Rd in the underpass.

got my nose broken in coasters that night. Up at the station one of their firm cleaned me up. Never forget one of them splitting his head open head butting a Durex machine. Fun times!

Brighton old bill found a crate of petrol bombs ready for use by west st firm on friday nite too ! LOts of chelski fans came from crawley another reason to dislike that shitty town.

Ironically i think Chris Hutchings was charged with inciting trouble at the game (celsea player) 3 weeks later we went and signed him.

Big money move FAIL

Really? Probably doubled his wage, and very likely to be playing Championship football week in week out.
