i'm sure simon funnell played for most of a season up front with kurt nogan. he was hardly prolific.

Living near Coventry like I do, I've been following the career of Mr Barrett. I think he now has 3 goals for the season (2 league, 1 cup) but plays predominately on the right wing for Cov and also takes set pieces when Mcalistair isnt playing. Thus far he has yet to score from one.

He has also been in the local paper saying he should score more (Ring any bells) and that he needs to be more selfish. In the one game I saw against Forest he even had a typical Barrett shot. Ball at feet, head down, over the bar into Row Z from 25 yards. Classic.

The Cov fans like him though. They, like us, will learn given time.

we liked him for about 3 games too. Apart from when he got sent off for fighting that little git Taylor at Pompey (who should have walked too) and got suspended for ages.

Other strikers with a bad rate- Farrington? Scott Ramsay?
