I felt compelled to bounce this thread having been reading my copy of this amazing book.

I, like many on here, was around to witness the near destruction of our beloved club at the hands of Archer and Bellotti and joined in many of the protests and campaigns.

I have to say though, that I really had no idea about the full extent of the deceit, lies and betrayal that went on. The book really reopens those barely healed wounds suffered by our community. It's soothing to be moving to the Amex while reading this account of our darkest hour but at the same time I can't help but feel the trauma of losing the Goldstone all over again.

In fact I drove past the old site this morning, quite by chance, and felt that pang of mourning as strong as I did back in the aftermath of '97.

If there's anyone who hasn't already done so, please read this book. This story is the backbone of this club and I for one will have this in mind when next month the Albion and Doncaster take to the pitch at the home we won despite it all.

Couple of questions...

A) Is there anything new in it from the original?
B) Is it limited edition again? I don't want to deprive anyone who hasn't already got it.

Can't wait for the fight for Falmer edition!

Hello old boy!

Same as the original, apart from the addition of a chapter at the end which is a reproduction of the 'Halftime at Hereford' thread from NSC

They are printing them as orders are received I think, so no 'limited edition' issues
