Poyet mentioned something before about players carrying knocks, didn't he?

I might have missed it, but why was he not in the team last night?

Banned? Injured or another bizarre team selection?

we have 3 very good CB, so what exactly is "bizzarre" about selecting one particular combination? probably good idea to give Dunk a few games to show some love before the silly season begins.

Got a sneaky feeling he might leave in the summer.

Would be a very strange one, unless a mid level Prem club are offering to double his wages.

I dont think Gus tells us the full truth when it comes to team selection just like with painter he got taken off at half time because of 'his leg'? when Im sure everyone would agree he got taken off because he was shite.

One of those 3 Grant Hall didn't play, Dunk played instead, alongside El Abd.

Your crusade to convince the world that Dunk is hopeless, and cannot head the ball, is becoming exceedingly tiresome BG.

If the selection was made entirely on form, its your favourite AEA who would have sat out this one, after his shocking performance at Upton Park.

I think that Greer could well be on his way out next summer. Being rested the next 2 games, bit bizarre but who knows.

What POSSIBLE reason do you have to suggest that?

He is rested, because he has been struggling with an abdominal injury, that needs time off to settle down. He's played through it while we had something to play for, but now the chance has gone, he is sensibly sitting out.

Constant nonsense on here from the conspiracy theorists.

I wouldn't disagree with that. I am not, however, one of those who believes that Dunk is a world beater and worth a lot of money. I read a report that Spurs are prepared to go to £1m for Hall, far more than anybody would offer for Dunk I think. He won some tackles on Tuesday night but his distribution was poor and he played other players into trouble on a number of occasions. In fairness to him he is still very young and learning the game so lets give him the benefit of the doubt and see how he progresses.

Dunk, El Abd and Hall all look good because Greer helps them with his experience and tells them where to go. He is by FAR our best center back. If you can't see that you really shouldn't be watching football.

Greer has been carrying an abdominal injury for some time and playing through it.

Gus now wants to focus on next season, and therefore wants Greer to be as fit as possible.

Don't expect to see him again this season.
