Never liked the Dandy. I was always a Beano boy and the occasional Whizzer and Chips.

I'd always buy the Beano, unless the Dandy had a better sweet sellotaped to the front, then I would make an exception.

Desperate Dan and Bananaman are the only two characters I can think of from the Dandy, whereas I could probably name about 30 Beano strips.

I loved the Beano as well and once I got too old for that I switched to buying Razzle.

Never too old for the Beano! I still insist on the Annual being in my xmas stocking every year

Me too - I have every Beano Annual back to 1951 (and pretty much a complete and ongoing collection of 2000AD)
