in the statement wes referred to the club not bothering - do you think this is acceptable then? i thought we had good man management skills - i'm not having a pop - just presenting the facts

So a local newspaper article quotes an ex-player, you then present the "quotes" as facts and invite other posters to comment?

OK.
It's newpaper article and newsapers are not necessarily interested in being factually accurate. Their primary purpose is not to inform but to maximise sales in order to make more money for the shareholders/owners. Sports stories, particularly those involving football, are notoriously exagerated and unbalanced; in my view it is unwise to present the contents of such an article as fact to anyone, including yourself.

Which of our (BHA) youngsters does this rather disingenuous comment of yours apply to and why?
