Similar ability defensively to Marcos Painter in my opinion. He'll struggle against a lot of the wingers like Buckley, Phillips, Ince and so on, because he has absolutely no pace.

Remember he's 3 years older than Bridge, and was never close to his ability in the first place. Wayne Bridge actually had a great deal of pace for his age. Harte has never had that, let alone now.

Hmm.........I've just noticed the 'Ignore user' function - how useful!

When I saw that Harte was being released by Reading, I did think he might be a useful signing for us. Not that he'd be an improvement on what we had last season - far from it - but just in view of the fact that we don't actually have a left back at all, do we? Unless there's someone a bit special ready to step up from the development squad, but let's face it, that doesn't seem to happen very often.

For Bournemouth this is like us signing Vicente, lets just hope they don't get a free kick just outside the area against us

I believe that's called a "penalty" if you're Bournemouth.
