Their View( Les Parry felt a point was the least his side deserved from their 1-1 draw against League 1 leaders Brighton & Hove Albion.

Rovers came from a goal down with Scott Wootton appearing to get the last touch to Aaron Cresswell's free kick late in the game for the equaliser.

The Manager told Tranmere Player: "I said to the lads after the game that it shows how far we've come when we come in after the game against a team that's pulling away at the top of the league and we're disappointed with a 1-1 result.

"We let them have possession, it didn't bother us when they had it in their first third. We practised that on Thursday with our reserves doing that.brighton are a very good side but we should of won the game

Although we came away with a point it is obvious we are a goalscoring striker short, which has already cost us points,if this situation continues it could well result in us going to Falmer as a Division 1 team which will knock thousands off the gate.

I disagree we are top having won 6 drawn 3 and lost only 1 how can it be obvious we are a goalscorer short?

I think that's patently obvious, Gus has even said as such, I love Murray and Barnes but we haven't scored enough goals regardless of our present (and lets fact it amazing) position.

Sandaza has been LESS than impressive. Maybe we should have a look at Adgestein in the first team?

We are a goal scorer short but until one comes along at a price we can afford then we have to go with what we've got.

ive been saying that aswell, i hope Gus does find one

How many minutes in the league has Sandaza actually played so far? About the equivalent of two games or less. Give the bloke a chance.

Good point. We are top - we are where everyone else in this division would like to be.

Gus will take some positive lessons from today:
-First half we should have been out of site , three other chances at least
-second half and they didn't let us settle. We have no outball, the team still try and play the passing game but we need a hold up player. Sandanza is big enough to be able to hold it up but he didn't do it today.
-They always mug us up there, not won for 34 years or so.

Great to watch first half though, lovely passing football, a joy to any division but not joy Division!

On the train back to Glasgow now. Met Mr Blobby and The Right Honorable Jack Straw at the match and Gom plus son at Coopers Bar Lime Street.

Bring on the Cherries.

I think now we have found ourselves in this position, at the top of the table, the problem will be resolved one way or another. The stakes are to high for us to let this slip. Tony Bloom wants promotion, he has publicy said this on more that one occasion and as recently as last week on five live. The minute we look like slipping out of the top spots, action will be taken, I have no doubt. But we are top with what we got, so no problem at the moment, however frustrating it is wasteing chances.
