Not overly keen on the Albert either, better pubs in the North Laine area than that one.

oh, and i HATE audio indie night, which seems to have merged into boogaloo in terms of clientelle

i hate indie kids

I walk past it frequently and concur. Any pub that offers 5 Bacardi Breezers for £5 is a sure fire sign to stay out!

I am not a great fan of chain pubs as it is. I can only think of one decent Wetherspoons, that being in Exeter.

Not sure there is such a thing as a decent Wetherspoons, however they do have a purpose. They open at 9am when most places do not open before 11am. So on an away trip they are often a good first port of call and you can get a beer and a Farmhouse Breakfast for under £5 at 9am!!!
