Good news about Andy D'Urso

D'urso Could Face Probe

Referee Andy D'Urso could face an investigation after he cautioned Barry Ferguson twice but did not send him off in the Barclays Premiership match at Southampton on Saturday.

Blackburn lost 3-2 at St Mary's with a controversial injury-time penalty, and it appeared Ferguson was shown a yellow card for protesting at the award of the spot-kick.

The booking was recorded in the referee's official report sheet, despite the fact he had also noted a caution against the Scotland midfielder for an earlier foul.

D'Urso was unavailable for comment afterwards, and it now remains to be seen what action will be taken once the match reports are processed.

"unavailable for comment", hmm that's newspaper talk for "Andy D'Urso refused to answer any questions and told us to f*ck off"

Good to see that Andy D'Urso has once again shown how incompetent he is in front of the cameras (and not just at lower league games where his awful decisions receive little to no media attention).
