School holidays mean the drive to the creche/gym can be undertaken at 100mph instead of the usual 10mph crawl.

It gets better - the drive from the creche/gym to work takes place to a soundtrack of 'Heatwave' by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, followed by 'Walking on Sunshine' by Katrina and the Waves.

Does it get any better? Does it, I ask you? (apart from the fact I had to come to work, obviously)

life is good - no school anymore as i've FINISHED, and my exam results will be here sometime next month, so i will spend today playing football in the park.

Bloody school holidays ! Costs us £11.50 per day child care, summer holiday prices double, and we've no excuse for sending her to bed at 9pm because its a school night!

Can't wait until september when she goes back.
