The best one in the debates was when Bush was describing a woman who lost her husband in Iraq and said: “it’s hard work trying to love her best as I can...”



I haven't seen any press reports make anything about that. If Kerry had said something that idiotic, he would have been flayed alive by the New York Post and its ilk.

The only possible crack in the door that 'might' help end conflict in Iraq is to beg the United Nations to come back in and sort out the humanitarian issues, then get a Middle-East summit together to discuss helping Iraq out of the mess. That will probably galvanise the Arab Nations against the West though, unless we are seen as a peacefully ineffectual party trying to make it work out for all.

Of course, then Sharon will do something dreadful to the Palestinians, the US will support them, and it'll be WWIII .

f***ing fine mess that worthless pratt bUSH has got us into - and bLAIR hasn't the poodle balls to overrule anything he says or does.

Anyway, rant aside, the US republicans will back this moron to the hilt, and the general plebs will be cowed by warmongery and go along with it ''just to support America and our troops''.

Kerry might sweep the debates, but I'm sure bUSH will still get in.
Might as well ignore the whole circus til it's over really, then praise the lord and pass the ammo.
