Was just reading that on the BBC, to quote regarding QPR getting promotion ... "But it could leave the Football League with a problem recovering a huge sum in FFP penalties"

If QPR get promoted they would come under the auspices of the Premier League. They could stick two fingers up to the FL and say the fine (now going to charity) is unenforceable as they're now a member of the Premier League. If it came to a stand off who do think would win between the Football League and the Premier League ?

I thought the "going to charity" bit had been changed

If Derby lose today will they be able to fend off Premier League interest in their better players over the summer? We can maybe go back to the days(not too long ago) when we were taking 4/6 points off of them a season. We need to get a smart manager in and sign some decent recruits in the meantime though

Happy for Derby to win - they're a better side than QPR so it will be good to get them out of our division and it's better going out to the winners.

And what happens if QPR refuse to pay up because they are now in the Premier League and the subsequently get relegated at some point? - would the Football League admit them or would they end up having nowhere to play? (could lead to another breakaway league)

I'm sure if they refused to pay, it would end up in court cases and if QPR lose them would they have any real assets that could be seized by bailiffs? maybe the ground i guess if the club own it rather than a holding company otherwise.....?
