I tweeted to him to say that I hoped he'd learnt his lesson. He said he had. He then went on to re-tweet this and note also his own response. The lad is not sorry at all. It's clearly just one big game.

no shit. post offensive tweet for no reason (not like there's any history or anything), then "apologise" when some abuse comes his way. why would anyone post such a thing in the first place? of course he wouldnt be sorry.

There were some pretty nasty tweets aimed at Hemed from Newcastle fans, too. ('****ing gay jew attacked Yedlin', 'Hemed should be killed', even as low as 'Bring back Auschwitz'). What the **** is wrong with these children?

As somebody has pointed out earlier in this thread, few employers nowadays get as far as even interviewing prospective employees, without a social media sweep. Hopefully these idiots are ****ing over their future career chances. That'll learn them.


(And not only disgusting, but monumentally stupid, given that Yedlin is also Jewish...)
