Why do people get so nervy and complain so fast? So many knee jerk reactions. Most of our new players that come good follow the trajectory of: season 1 - limited appearances and look raw. Season 2 - break into the team more but inconsistent. Season 3 - look very good.

Some go a bit faster. Some don't make it. But you have to give them at least 3 seasons at their age before we decide they are shit or the next f***ing Pele.
Season 3 for Buonanotte, Enciso, Sarmiento and Ferguson, the holy Quadrinity at the time, was being bummed out to other clubs.

While your version is the ideal, I'm not sure its borne out in reality. In the prem you get your initial move year, then need to be competing by season 2.

I think Mac, Caicedo and Mitoma were from a different age from where we are now.

Giving up on judging anyone lately, or annually, with cameos off the bench.
I like the player from his appearances since he joined.
Ps. Do we think Abdullah Sima might get an appearance before his contract comes up next year?
Here he's quite good.
Sake.

Brighton‘s track record of converting small investments into big sales is almost a cliche it’s been talked about so much. our success rate is envied across the land.
Buonanotte, Enciso, Sarmiento and Ferguson were never seen as the holy quadrinity. They were always punts. We should make money on all of them. Theyve not been disastrous signings.
Your last point really is nonsense - Baleba, JPVH, Pedro. I could go on. Same model as Mac etc, likely to be same results.

I don't think any of this post is bourne out in reality.

Do we get paid well for bumming players out to other clubs, I hope so because it sounds like a right pain in the arse.

Has to score that open goal and needs to pace himself better, but there’s tons of potential there.
Was it an open goal?

Certainly a free header, which he should have hit the target from.

But to my mind, an open goal has to register at least 0.7 in xg and we only mustered 0.6 from the whole game.

The left side of the goal as he sees it was totally free but not the whole goal to be fair. But a free header from that close really just has to hit the target to score.

It was a big chance, for sure and he should have done better.

Probably just the fates readjusting after last week's thuderbastard.

This season has been all about injuries, the club spent a fortune and seen very little return with regards games played

Gomez arrived only at Christmas on the back of a full season and international duties neither of which are played at the intensity of the PL under a new coach new country new player.

yesterday I dubbed him Barn Door Gomez as I was pretty sure my grannys ashes casket thrown could have scored that, of course I regret that statement now not about granny but the calling him Barn Door

He's a tidy player, I like him, but yes should have scored that header. Still plenty of time before we should be properly assessing his overall play, still very much in the learning a new league/team/tactics phase.
