I remember taking my kids there the day after the last game, The groundsman at the time saw me taking pics and invited us inside, we got to view changing rooms etc, Better than a recent wembley visit in my eyes,

Believe it or not above each players clothes peg there was one of those small kits that hang in car windows with the players name hand written on them.

If only I can find the photos, I do have video I will try and digitalise and put on you tube.

PS the bath was empty..

I'll never forget the grief that Bellotti put us and the town though (city now!), the decision to sell the ground without a replacement was just as pathetic as anybody selling their house without another one to move into.

I see it's some shopping complex now after seeing Brighton's Potted History on The Football League Show a few nights ago.

At the time this ground sale was happening, there was this Question Time style debate show on ITV Meridian, it was some twat in an eyepatch on a TV link saying about moving to Gillingham with one woman yelling "WHY SHOULD WE LISTEN TO YOU?!, WE ARE NOT GOING TO GILLINGHAM!!!", I could seriously see the anger, this was a football club being ripped apart for greed. I remember Geoff Clark calling the twirp "Captain Pugwash", before putting Bellotti on the spot.

I'm just glad we've finally got somewhere we can call a proper home now, Withdean was after all supposed to be tempoary, although it's sad it's going after we made it our home and fortress!.
