Stoke Poges Golf club for the golf match & Oddjobs hat scene, plus RAF Northolt for Pussy Galore Flying Circus.
The same hangar was used in Octopussy and the World is Not Enough.
Different times then with actual cold war spycraft being used, unlike today where it's more of the cyber based.I watched this the other day. And to my astonishment, realised I'd never seen it before.
Very much a "different times" sort of movie, isn't it, and arguably the most Austin Powers of any Bond film, along with The Man With The Golden Gun.

Was it Moonraker that featured Dr Goodhead? If they ever do a series of reboots, on the back of the franchise sale, will they rename Pussy?
I’d imagine there’s a bright young Exec somewhere, thinking, starting with Dr No can we remake the whole series with a 21st century slant?
As for Fleming himself, I have been ploughing through Nicholas Shakespear's biography and Fleming comes across as a rather shallow and unpleasant man who offset his natural charm with needless cruelty.
