This one's weird for me.

I thought he was much better than Lingard in his spell for us.

Mind you I do think Lingard has been lucky with the timing of the demise of his club.

Lingard had a season back at MUFC before he 'broke through' this season. That's the equivalent to Tex now. I reckon he could be a big player for Liverpool next season.

Don't forget also that he had a bad injury at the beginning of the season, too. From what I've seen of him this season I've been impressed and think he's improved a lot since he was with us.
