I for one would not invest xx millions into a business without having control in the direction that business was going. It's not like having a few shares in a company and watching the FTSE to see how your investment is going.

Let's not forget that without some big money we will have a huge mortgage at Falmer, and be hopping between leagues one and two on gates of 6-8k

Is that what you really want?

So, after all BHAFC has been through, and survived in the 2nd, 1st, and Championship divisions - you estimate that we won't get investors, or better crowds for the vastly superior facilities and atmosphere, or better sponsorships, and other uses for our own stadium (Olympic events, concerts, sporting events, corporate functions etc)??
Any investor would want, and get, a voice in the running of the club. In what business world do the investors or financial backers have no say in how their money is spent??
The bookies, or at the gamblers tables. That's where.
