I think you're being a bit harsh here. What's wrong with a programme that attempts to instill some confidence back into people who feel like they're all washed up?
It's better than those programmes where they literally spend £30k on liposuction, new teeth etc and then stand back in amazement when people actually look better afterwards.

I assumed he was an annoying twat, but recently sat through one of his programmes for the first time as the missus likes him. I was really impressed with him, he does actually improve ordinary peoples lives by making them more comfortable with who they are.
