I get really annoyed at this sort of post!

Football is not the be all and end all of life, at least it isn't for me.

There are lots of people and things that are far more important to me than football. So what if I decide not to go to a match because of other priorities, the weather or whatever, my decision.
Well said ! Drove up from Dorset (my choice to live there) on Saturday, decided against coming up tonight due to roadworks and driving back late, so put my ticket on the Exchange, along with another few thousands..........if the people who moan about STHs like me not turning up, ask yourselves why are there so many tickets not being taken up on the Exchange ?

We are setting off at 3pm for tonight's game. I'm lucky to be in a job that is flexible enough that I can do that - but I'm well aware many are not.
One of the many benefits of the NSC mod job.

The arse end of Hangleton
Don't the club use those QR codes which change every few minutes... like most ticketing apps?
Don't know about this season but tested last season and it worked.

Mansfield Woodhouse, actually.
i always think that this 10% figure is interesting. In our case that 10% of STHs amounts to 2,100 empty seats (Less resales)

It sounds a lot, put like that - and you see lots of super fans moaning about it - but what it really means (on average) is that each STH is missing TWO games per season.

I absolutely GUARANTEE that there are people on this very thread, posting disparaging comments about our ‘flaky’ fans, who have themselves missed their two-game ‘share’ of this statistic.
How many STHs manage to get to every home game it covers? Got to be at least half, so amongst the rest that means an average of at least FOUR games are missed per season. Lumping half those missed games amongst the ever-present to engineer a totally artificial average for the rest is absolutely GUARANTEED to invite disparaging comments from them!

I didn’t go tonight because I am really busy with work and could not get away by 3pm which is the latest I would have to leave to feeling utterly frazzled by the time I got there. I also hate Villa scummy cheating team that seem to always do us over.

well done every one that endured that.

Really poor turnout this evening. Really poor. I'm sure everyone will have their excuses but huge gaps everywhere.
No there wasn't, at least not until their second went in.
What is poor is those that booed on the final whistle and/or when their third went in. We now have a noisy minority of entitled fans and they're going to pipe up on every occasion they can from hereonin.

I had 4 people sat close to me who were really excited that they'd managed to get tickets to the game. Genuine supporters who cant afford to come to the Amex.
Sadly they were split into two couples. Don't worry I said, after KO you'll have the pick of the best seats and be able to move.
Initially they didn't believe me but 5 minutes in they moved to 4 seats together.

There was actually. Looking across from the East Upper to the Lower West and there were hundreds of empty seats right from kick-off.
