That bloke's stealing a living. Gets right on my nerves. It's worth watching AV even if just to watch their set piece coach who looks like Rik Wakeman go thru his routines.

You'll probably still get back to Cambridge faster than those in the Bridge Car Park, even allowing for a leisurely breakfast in your hotel tomorrow morning.- My personal circumstances aren’t the issue here - and I would say they are less favourable than many frankly as I have long distances on public transport and disability to contend with! I don’t put my self through the emotional effort and physical marathon for pats on the back (but thanks anyway, I think) - I do it because I love my Club and that means for me watching them play live at every opportunity I can.
i just can’t envision using bad weather, train delays/road works or not fancying the opposition as excuses for not attending as many games as is physically doable and I think its a reasonable attitude to have to think these are flakey excuses.
No one here is criticising fans who have family/work commitments/illness or financial difficulties for not attending every home game regardless of where people live.
Anyway - sitting here at Cambridge waiting for the train to Brighton and enjoying a coffee. It’s a sunny warm day and I’m looking forward to the match.![]()

No thanks, I'm not.
I don't like all this willy-waving about fair-weather fans and excuses for not going to a match. My attitude is the same as GB‘s (and I live further away than you).
I don’t make all the home games because I am simply not well enough to make a 400 mile round trip on public transport each fortnight (today will be the second time in 5 days) - nor do my finances allow me to spend the £200 plus it costs me on travel and hotel (plus the often £50+ for a match ticket) but I don’t let anticipated delays on trains, road works, bad weather or who we are playing deter me from going which is the excuses I see from time to time from a few posters on this board. When they have a BN postcode and use these types of excuses, that‘s fair weather support imo.
Plenty of room for waving willies tonight it seemsI don't like all this willy-waving about fair-weather fans and excuses for not going to a match.
I really enjoy going to see Brighton, which I tend to do for nearly all the home games and a fair few away. I'm lucky. I have the time, opportunity and money to do that. Many don't. There are many things in life that take greater priority for most people. You shouldn't abuse people who can't, or simply don't want, to go all the games. As someone once said, "Football is the most important of the least important things in life". Football is great but not so great that one should apologise for not wanting/being able to go.
And not too cold, which will help.Plenty of room for waving willies tonight it seems![]()
What about the ones who spend the entire game on the A2731,800 capacity, 28,800 home seats. With 730 out of 4,500 WSU available, extrapolating, that's a 27k crowd. Then deduct the people who couldn't be arsed to use the Exchange.
A 25k true gate tonight?
4 hours before kick off. That won’t stop the telling off email coming in. Way too lateJust listed mine, upper West
Bloody hell “empty” so 95% is empty … glass
