Ultimately in years gone by, people would have landed it to a family member probably for free. Seems such a waste of empty seats, people can’t make every game, that’s natural, some people cannot make midweek game, also natural. There just isn’t the demand to re-list tickets for midweeks, unless it’s something like a European Game. Surely the amnesty on tickets like with the one free game, could be extended to midweek. The club ultimately lose money here, as probably 3,000+ seats will be empty, and not spending money on pie/pint/£16 terrace burger.

You're preaching to the choir. However the 'club' don't run like a club anymore, they are a corporation with strict policies that don't seem to be particularly flexible. Understandable to an extent but I do wonder if the people at the top and in middle management positions are all that in touch with the 'average' fan.

I've said before that I think there should be an option to donate your ticket if it hasn't sold by 24 hours before kick-off. There must be loads of local charities and good causes who have people who'd like to go but can't afford it or aren't in a membership tier or whatever but would make the most of the opportunity.

Yep. I may have to work late tomorrow. It's going to depend on the outcome of a meeting in the States that finishes about 9pm tonight. If I do have to work I'll then be listing my ticket with 3000 others and I'll have missed the 'naughty boy' cut off (which is arbitrary and ridiculous anyway).

Could instead give the ticket to one of the lad's mates and have two vocal youngsters and a potential new regular.

Oh well.

The 2pm day before curfew doesn't come into effect until next season.

And I understand why they've given a cut-off - the club want to motivate people to list as early as possible if they can't go, allowing others the chance to attend. They'll have access to relisting data, as well as sales data. I suspect same-day sales drop-off due to the planning involved.

However, if the sell-side of the exchange hasn't yet opened or there are already thousands of exchange seats available to buy, getting a black mark for missing that 2pm day before cutoff feels somewhat harsh.

Regardless of that, it does mean those who have genuine day-of-game emergencies will get a wrist slap if they list late. I guess the thinking is most fans don't have those very often.

I think it is always a nightmare in WSU when trying to pass through the end sections of the concourses to get to the centre, when people there queuing for food and drink. I think somebody from the hierarchy needs to visit pre match to see for themselves. WSU is the forgotten section of the stadium.

Never been up there to WSU but the NS concourse is always rammed before KO and at HT

You can only enter WSU, when you've been given rhe freedom of Bexhill!

It doesn't need long queues to dissuade many of those in the WSU from washing their hands after a piss.

Do you think an 18 year old non STH would rather:

a) sit next to his mate with a good view for free or

b) pay full 18-21 year old price for a worse seat on his own?

Our hypothetical fan will never buy off the exchange.

What? You have other parts of life that you have to conduct and commitments to manage that doesn't entirely involve BHA FC. Careful posting that sort of thing on here, BHA hierarchy will track you down and ban you from the ground.

You must buy your season ticket in March and must be available under any circumstances irrespective of whether the game is on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday evening, Saturday lunchtime or evening or even a Sunday at pretty much any time. You must not, at short notice become unavailable because you have to work, or care for children or elderly relatives, or be unwell. AND what is this, you could give your already paid for seat to a mate or colleague and they could take their son/daughter and they might come back again, you absolute bloody infidel.
