I'm fairly sure CKR would score a fair few against Div 1 defences.

Don't forget he only had a handful of games for Bury.
10 starts, 20 sub appearances.

I'm sure he'd be good in League One, but not good enough to get us promoted with his goals the way Leon or Bobby did.

Perhaps Jake would find his scoring boots in that division and they'd get enough between them.

Don't think we'd walk it but think we would be in or around the playoffs if we went down. Don't know who out of Butters, Carloe, Frutos, McShane would fancy it/still be around but think we would be fine.

Better off trying to stay in this division though - maybe a striker could do a job?

Wed be a decent Div 1 side and would be looking at play offs again with the current team. I think teh difference in defensive players is vast from Div 1 to the CCC so would even expect Robinson to get one or two.

Id go along with that Dan, but the worry is the big team in a small pond. Teams would raise there games.
Also the defensive play may be weaker however is there really anyone in the squad that you could see hitting twenty goals?

But he's been trained by Magoo now so he should easily get 30 before Christmas.

He'll be two years older which will make a big difference!

Doesn't matter anyway as we wont be in league 1

I see that Lee Bradbury has fallen out with Brian Talbot at Oxford he is a big target man the down side is the reason that they have fallen out BT says 'he was bought as a goalscorer but hasn't produced the goods'.

Crikey old man I hope you're not suggesting we go in for him.

MM wants a target man who is 6ft plus who can hold up play and knows where the goal is who do you suggest. I know one Alan Shearer or Duncan Ferguson be a realist who can we afford Lee Bradbury is about our mark.

I watched him recently and despite the fact he used to play for Palace he was still ten times the target man McCammon is.

Never been prolific scorer though, which is what we badly need.

Being realistic we are not going to be able to afford a striker who will score 10 or 12 goals himself in this half of the season what we need is a man who will chip in with 5 or 6 and help either JR or CKR to 5 or 6 also.
