The seats should be released either today or tomorrow (as advised by the kind young lady who does this and works opposite me !)

Get booking for Wearside everyone

If anyone wants to rise above peasantry EasyJet (no, its not a plug as I dont do work for them anymore) will get you up from Stansted for £55 inc taxes leaving at 11:20 and back at 20:30.

The only problem from down here is the fact that it costs 20 notes to get to Stansted from down here. Also at the moment I have had enough of airports.

Yeah, it only works if someone drives to Stansted, the BA option from Gatwick doesnt get you to the game on time either.

Well, I did look last night so it may have gone up a few quid since, but 60 notes is still a decent price.

Thanks Beach Hut / Uncle Buck.

I think we were thinking of trying for the 09:00 from Kings Cross.

Are you guys going First or Standard Class?

Standard as if the cheapest is available it is about £20 to Newcastle and the best first price is £50. However at present about 10 of us are provisionally booked on with London Sunderland, on the 0800, which is costing £32, but if I can get a better price off my own back then I will cancel the £32 ones.

OK

Have to say that £32 seems very reasonable!
