he hasnt has he?

if we want to get anywhere in this league we need to buy in 2 strikers who can consistently score goals at this level, we havnt got one right now

We've got 2 ... when they play together.

In fairness to Poyet thought, the 4-5-1 does look MILES more secure, and since we've switched to it, my relegation fears have been completely dismissed.

Don't worry, We have Dickinson to come back & Holroyd will come good by then.

You cannot expect too much when you play only one striker, particularly when he is not getting a good service from the midfield,Holroyd is not the answer yet. Forster should have been brought on to play up with Murray at least half way through the second half.

No point in playing 4-5-1 with no service. with 2 upfront, those 2 can create something themselves but murray is no superman and cant magic up a chance out his arse sadly. Lua lua will goes past the defender then mis cue the cross and fall on his arse.Bennett hasnt been effective enough lately either and missed two sitters yesterday. Having forster on the bench and dicko banging in the goals in the championship is confusing. Recalling them to the team wouldnt do us much harm i must say

Or games lost since we changed to 4-5-1. It's a good formation and served us well against the better sides in this league whether it will stay on Tuesday night is another question.

exactly. Can't stand this playing with only one front man. Forster and Murray plus decent service = goals.

Look at our record since we changed formation, not going to say Forster dropped because he played in the same role

That is when you can tell apart a good striker to an average striker, Murray is not a good striker

Bollocks.

Wilkins, Adams, Slade, Poyet all said he is good and one of the best in the league but you don't agree, hmmm who's opinion to go with

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
the formation in a sense is 433, Lua Lua and Bennett being the other strikers, it is a formation that Man U were using last year with Rooney, Ronaldo, Giggs

 we are not Man Utd however.

Ive gone on about this before till i am blue in the face.
Its simple the 4-5-1 is an away formation in my opinion, despite people calling it 4-3-3 it isnt.

at home we should always play 4-4-2 except maybe against top sides when we need more possesion. but 95% of the time 4-4-2 at home please.

Ps Murray is a very good striker at this level and i think would score goals in the championship.

IMO i dont think it will be a good idea to keep changing the formation

Murray is not aggressive enough to play as a lone striker,he doesn`t play the physical game and also lacks a bit of killer instinct .He has other attributes and in my opinion would benefit immensly playing alongside a target man.I dont think we saw enough of the Dickinson/Murray partnership.

Not a chance is he one of the best in the league

He really did upset you at Brentford, didn't he.
Murray would walk into any team in this division.
