This needed 1 thread months ago not 101 since :/ about half have had polls too!

Murray was wank last season EXCEPT when trying hard against us. He is trying hard this season as in a contract year. He did the same for us. Rather poor then immense in his final year.

You'd have to take him THIS season but LAST season CMS was far more useful and solidified us in this division. Straight up would choose CMS, considering the fee compared to a free (even with big wages, longer contract, massive signing fee) you'd go Murray.

'Big wages'- less than CMS that's for sure.

Without wishing to rub it in, watch his 2nd goal tonight on the football league show, stunning strike.

Deservedly just won goal of the day vote on sky sports news :)

For those of you that missed it will be on Football League show later, well worth a watch. 27 goals now. Great stuff.

A few months ago, the whingers were moaning that Noone had gone to Cardiff, but his goals have dried up and people now realise that Orlandi is a better replacement.
CMS is not on great money, as it was confirmed that Leicester offered him more money, but Sven didn't turn up to speak to CMS whereas Gus was available when CMS came to Brighton. Barry Fry also confirmed that CMS accepted less money to play for us.

Sorry, but that is utter delusion. Murray has scored 26 league goals and it's Febuary. He is on course for the record goals scored in a Championship/Old Division 1 Season. Your point about him playing well this year as it's the final year of his contract is wrong, he still has 18 months to run. And he wasn't 'wank' last year at all, in the games he was picked in he scored some vital goals but never got regular service from the midfield due to Freedmans horrendous negative tactics.

He got 7 goals last season when CMS got 11. You are right about his contract length as you offered him 3 years when we offered him 2. Another reason why he chose you instead of us. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Poyet f***ed up royally with Murray, that much has been clear for well over a year now.

Since then he has spent a lot of money on our forward line - CMS, Hoskins, Dobbie and now Ulloa. He's dabbled in the loan market with Barndoor and Woods and I've probably forgotten at least one other player.

But at our level, decisions have to be made and gambles taken. We don't have the money of a Man City and the ability to keep a squad of highly paid players in reserve just in case.

If Ulloa fails to impress though, Poyet's lack of judgement with strikers could be his downfall at the Albion.

Wood played for us in League One. He was on loan to Birmingham & Bristol City last season.

At the time we took him on loan weren't WBA a Premier League outfit ? BDB was just a Leeds United outcast they were looking to get rid of.

My point stands.

Which point? Wood was good for us when we won League One. He went back to West Brom, Gus was asked about him at the Fans Forum, where he replied that he wasn't given a chance to get him back on loan again. West Brom had decided to loan him out to different clubs. What had Poyet done wrong?

And now it looks like Gus has done it again with Dobbie.can't believe we are helping Palace to promotion.why the f*** didn't he give Dobbie a run in the team in his best position?

To be fair, Dobbie isn't really Gus's type of player. And he has played for Holloway before.

Well said.

Gus is light years away from being ready for Chelski. Much to learn, and I hope he has, and in his private thoughts about Murray and CMS, is NOT too arrogant to admit to himself that he made two blunders. CMS is not an outright disaster, but a fee of about £1m should have been the maximum.

Are you stupid?

The point that Poyet f***ed up over Murray and has spent a LOT of money trying to give the Albion a promotion challenging strike force with, to date, no success.
