Murray has never come across as a man who simply says what people want to hear or someone who just rattles out the usual bollocks about loving the club, fans or manager, so on the occasions like this i think what he has said is actually sincere.

I also think the whole 'murray is an enigma' tag he receives is utter bollocks. Could it just be that he isnt like the typical footballer, full of cliches and hot air.

Fair comment(s) there Mr C, but I think you'll find he's obviously popped a couple of cheeky clichés in while you weren't paying 110%attention.

Anyone know what his domestic situation is these days. I thought i read somewhere that his missus didn't like it down here and had moved back up north and he was living on his own with his family miles away. That situation would make it hard to concentrate on his football.

I believe that is rather old news. He is now with a local girl, and as the initial post shows, is happy here.

Mello - cue the usual knob heads who come out and say 'he's gonna say that in an interview isn't he'. Those people have no grasp on humans expressing themselves from their hearts :) As I said on other thread POYET HAS SAID THERE WILL BE NO FORSTER SITUATION AGAIN AND HAS SAID HE'S WAITING TILL NEXT YR TO DISCUSS ANY CONTRACTS DO STOP SHITTING IT...

Thing is, he's going to say that in an interview on Seagulls Player isn't he?!?! ???

Thanks. Have now heard it. Trouble is with me, I believe in actions rather than words, and people can say whatever suits them at the time, then do something different. He may well be 100% genuine, I don't know him, so I can't tell - and these guys gets interviewed a lot, so know what to say. Would very much like him to stay and think he can definitely do a job at the next level up, hopefully next year.

I know that was when he first came here. Didn't know if it had changed. He's got a reason to stay down here then, rather than gagging to get back up north.
