Just imagine if he went there and started banging them in as well,,,could it get any worse on here. We all know the fact he is banging them in for Palace, make losing him the bitterest pill to swallow, but that aside. If he started doing it in the prem as well, I actually think there would be less Murray threads..

I for one hope he does, who can blame him for leaving us and the 3rd division wages we were paying for a 6 figure signing on fee and triple the wages. With hindsight Gus would have given him what he wanted, but just like the rest of us Gus is not blessed with hindsight

Who is Glen Murry?
What is the premship?
The Scum's what?
If you write definately and there is a red line under the word, it is there for a reason.

Yes, I am in a pedantic mood but what a collection of SHOCKERS this thread is.

It's 'talkSPORT' you missed

If you read that last bit again you'll realise it's nonsense. Everyone is blessed with hindsight. What Gus was lacking was FORESIGHT.

If he thought for one fricking second that Murray would be on 20 by December I don't he would have waved him off with such élan.

Hindsight should not come into it really.Gus should have known better than anyone what Murray was capable of.He saw the guy everyday for 18mths.

Even in the close season?...on his days off? That's just creepy. No wonder Murry had to get away.

Glenn Murry was the best striker we've had since Peter Wad.

You have a point, but we can`t change the fact Gus let him go.Gus should have signed strikers in the summer as it was obvious by then that Barnes and McSmudger are never going to score the amount of goals required to get us promoted

The current posts are all being made with hindsight, but i take your point, i am only defending our dictator the man who never made a mistake never made anything
