Looking at the recent uprisings over the SCR phone-in, i cannot believe that everyone is getting so worked up over it. We are lucky to have such good coverage on the Albion from them. Lets face it Meridian have never shown an interest. At the end of the day I like Harty and regard him as an passionate Albion fan like most of us on NSC and I don't think anyone else could do a better job.( radio can't be easy) At the end of the day its good to make suggestions to improve the phone-in if they are constructive, but why the constant moaning every week. Technical problems do hamper some of the phone-in's and some are bound to be better than others, but hey tonights was interesting. So please everone lets get behind harty and the team and WORK TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!. after all in the words of stevie C, we are all in this together. thank-you rant over

At the end of the day, it's the people who call up which make or break a break a phone in, and some of the callers are dire. But as Harty will always say, and rightly so, if the people moaning don't pick up the phone themselves then what right do they have to moan? I missed today's becuase my radio is packed up ready to move home with it's owner, so I don't know what it was like, but I do applaud SCR for the coverage - who else bothers? to scr.

Nothing wrong with the SCR coverage of the Albion games whatsoever. We're lucky to have it on tap. But while Harty refuses to cut short, for example, some wanker banging on about the stitching on his daughter's shorts, he'll always be open to criticism. And rightly so. Cos by letting the random dildos overstay their welcome, he's simply causing his listeners to switch off in droves. Schoolboy error. And no Harty, I don't need to come and say it to your face, cos that's not the point y'know.

I think criticism is all part and parcel of media focus, and it serves to remind them that people are listening. Friction causes heat, action fuels reaction. Let the moaning continue, let the anti-moaning continue, let the praise continue, and long live SCR .

It is a fan's phone in. If the fans don't phone in then Harty has to run with what he has. If you haven't phoned in to discuss the game or anything Albion related then, can you really moan on about the 'dire' contributions that others make?

Fair comment, Harty can't control what the callers will say. I think that it is a wonderful facility that we should not take for granted or knock.
