After last season's disappointment many have tipped Gillingham for relegation, and those close to the club are expecting this again. The lack of signings, and losing defenders, whilst being bottom of the league, has meant many fans, are calling for manager, Del Boy's head.

Injuries were a key factor last season and several new faces - and the many new faces that Gillingham fans were promised have not turned up. Del Boy now faces a growing injury list.

Del Boy worked wonders on a tight budget at Brighton, his previous club, but now no-one is confident of survival with him in charge at Gillingham.

Many Gills fans feel at board meeting tommorow, that Del Boy will be sacked, but they have rubbished those ideas, and given more money to Del Boy to strengthen in defense and attack.

Manager, Del Boy, had this to say "The fans can just F*ck off. They don't get behind the team, all they do is chant sack the board, and likewise to me. I will not be leaving this club, the board can't afford to, and i have a five year contract. Del Boy then said "I do expect us to go down this season, and then maybe mid table obscurity, but i will be working on a team re-building exercise, and this could take as long as 3 seasons.

Del Boy expects his to be a team pushing for promotion to the Premiership by the end of his contract.

all asked for was the train fare homw, and he said no. then he had a go at me in the press for not turning up to training the next day, but that was because he didn't give me the £1.65 fare.

So i had a go at him for this, and he sacked me. :(
