If you park in Wimbledon get the TRAIN to Clapham Junction (7 minutes), then do the same via platform1 to West Brompton.
Why would you bother with making a change from Wimbledon when the District Line takes you straight to Fulham Broadway? You'd save about 5 minutes faffing about with trains, whereas the tube from Wimbledon you'd just get a coffee and sit on a guaranteed seat as it's the beginning of the line.

Faffing.

It's of constant surprise to us residents how "outsiders" are scared of using the buses and overland trains. That's why the Mayor rebranded them.

I lived in Wimbledon for 10 years, and 2 or 3 miles from there for another 9. I think I know what I'm talking about. I'm no more of an "outsider" than you are.

You on the other hand are talking about switching from a train that gets in to Clapham Junction from Wimbledon on platform 13 and walking to platform 1 - with no guarantee of a seat on either service - in order to save about 5 minutes.

I always park at Morden, always spaces in the car park and bout £6.50 to park all day. Location of the car park using what 3 words is: Porch.Torn.Grab. 5 min walk to Morden Tube station, catch the 93 bus to Wimbledon station and then District line train to Fulham Broadway.

Edit: You can always stay on the 93 bus which terminates at Putney Bridge, 20 min walk to the ground or couple of stops on the tube.

Sign for the Albion, play well for a season or two, change your agent and then wait. Todd Boehly will come and get you.
