I rang Sir Norman on Boxing Day to see how he is getting on. For those who don't know, he suffered a mild heart attack and was in hospital for 4/5 days. The symptoms happened during the night after he went to bed not feeling well. He has had tests and I think one or two valves in his heart had furred up. He has to go back for check-ups and will be on tablets for the rest of his life but he will be fine. He is at home taking it easy and was in high spirits when I spoke to him.

He will be taking it easy now - but we are hoping he will be back for a game or two as summariser in the later part of this season.
