Miss him very badly need a bit of fight in the midfield
i have never rated him that highly however the fight he showed last year when things were at there worse was great i dont think he gave up once all season despite being out classed

I think it's a sign of how badly we are playing that people are looking to Oatway as the answer.
Sadly he is not good enough for this level, as people are only too keen to point out when he's actually playing. He's aggressive, yes, and we need that at the moment with our ludicrously lightweight midfield. But as a footballer you need more than just running around like a rabid dog shouting at people and occasionally fouling someone if you can get close enough.
He's not going to turn our season around, I'm sure McGhee must have already spotted our complete lack of a ball winner in the middle. Presumably he will be looking into it asap.

He is EXACTLY what we need - some badly needed bite in midfield, a ball winner with passion.
It's all very well having Rehman and Yates but if there is nobody to win the ball, how are they going to be creative with it?
What Charlie has got in abundance is PASSION.
He took a while to find his feet in Div 1 but did adjust eventually and is definetely an accomplished Div 2 player. I cant wait for him to come back, we miss the spirit he brings to the team (Danny has not been the same since he got injured).

It just goes to show har shit we have become when we are desperate for Oatway to come back into the side. He couldnt even make the last Div 2 promotion side.
